The low and purposely aggressive profile and deep-V hull is designed to slice through the blue water with plenty of power to get you to the fish fast. She’s built for fishing in a utilitarian sense. This classic fishing beast accommodates up to seven guests (6 or fewer is better). Listed prices are for up to 4 guests. Additional guests are $50 per person.

ALL deposits received are NON-REFUNDABLE. There is travel insurance available that covers deposits for excursions etc. should your trip be cancelled.
Our primary concern is conservation. Catch-and-release is practiced on all billfish; with food species the practice is catch whatever you can eat and release the rest. The Captain and deckhands are great fishermen and will work hard to help you catch fish. Our eco-friendly approach to fishing and commitment to the environment are a priority. Conservation of our natural resources is the only way to allow for future generations to enjoy these waters. If you are fishing offshore and catch tuna, mahi mahi or wahoo the crew will filet your catch and have it ready for you to take with you by the time your arrive back at the marina. Several local restaurants will gladly prepare your fresh fish for you for dinner, too!
Our captain or deckhands on the boat make their money by receiving tips. It is customary in the charter fishing business to tip the crew. Crew tips in are usually 10-20%. All tips are split equally among the crew (captain and mates). Simply leave one tip with the captain and he will distribute it with the other crew members. You may also charge crew tips on a credit card if you like!
As long as the boat is going out, we’ll be there waiting for you to join us. Captains appreciate that no one wants to fish in a downpour or to be on the ocean in dangerous conditions and they have great leniency in that regard as safety is a top priority. For a casual, passing shower or brief delay, however, we expect you to be ready for a great day of fishing!
Caught every month of the year with June, July and August being exceptional, then slowing a bit from October into early January when it picks up again. We catch Blue, Striped and Black Marlin.
The Yellowfin fishery has exploded since the trawlers were forced to at least 20 miles offshore. We now have a world class, rear-round Tuna Fishery. The yellowfin and some bigeye tuna are often found well inside the Catalina Islands, 30 minutes or less running time from the beach, while schools of 12 to 20 pounders are usually abundant on the outside. You frequently find concentrations of 40 to 60 pound tuna. Several over 100 and 200 pounds are caught every year!
Caught throughout the year in our Northern Waters with May through August normally being the top months. They begin to thin out around October/November
More properly known as green dolphin or Mahi Mahi, these colorful gamesters are most abundant from late May through October when the seasonal rains flood the rivers, carrying out debris that forms trash lines close inshore that they like to lie under. Troll past a floating log and you’ll likely hook a dorado.
The first showing begins about the time the rains start in May, peaking in July and August. Most are caught around the rocky points and islands, but you will pick one up occasionally fishing offshore.
