Rio Celeste Hiking Tour
The Rio Celeste Hike is a must see and do if you are in the Guanacaste area. It is a beautiful drive up to the Tenorio Volcano where you will see the amazing aqua blue waters of Rio Celeste. You will arrive at the park entrance, and from there you will hike into the Rio Celeste falls and tour down to where the river actually turns aqua blue from a clear color right in front of your eyes.
There are many photo opps along the way where you can stop and take a picture and breathe in the amazing air. The trail can get slippery during the rains, so take your time and be careful.
They do not permit swimming in the river in the park, but if you go up the road a little ways from the entrance, there is an area for public swimming to enjoy after your hike.
