Animal Sanctuary Waterfall and Rainforest Tour

Come join us for a spectacular day where you will find some of Costa Rica’s Hidden secrets in the rainforest of the Tenorio Volcano. First we will stop at the amazing Cortez waterfalls, where we will take a short walk to these beautiful local waterfalls, you can take a dip to cool off in the shallow waters or sit and enjoy the view and sun on the golden beach. This as a great place to get some pictures, so do not forget a camera. Next we will head up to the luxurious rainforest of the Tenorio Volcano. If you are a nature and animal lover this tour is for you. You will be taken on a 2.5 hour hike, with many stops, where you will marvel in the beauty of the area, and enjoy all kind of Flora and Fauna in the Tenorio Volcano Rainforest. We will cross 3 different hanging bridges traversing the forest canopy 35 to 40 Metres in height.

The afternoon will be spent on a leisurely walk through the beautiful botanical garden where you will see an abundance of nature’s finest. You will see butterflies, birds, bromelias and over 10 different species of frogs including the Red-Eyed Tree Frog. This is the place where you we see the Famous Sloth in its natural habitat, an absolute must see.
